In accordance with the provisions of the Professional Future Law, aimed at eliminating wage gaps between women and men, companies must publish their gender equality index: What about GEORGES HELFER?
How is the index calculated?
In application of decree n° 2019-15 of January 8, 2019, the index is calculated based on 4 to 5 indicators (depending on the company’s size). It gives a score out of 100 points. Each company must achieve a minimum score of 75/100.
The goal of this measure is to encourage pay equality between women and men and thus create a work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion.
To establish their score, companies must respond to five main criteria set in advance by the government:
The gender pay gap,
The distribution gap in individual raises,
The distribution gap in promotions (only in companies with more than 250 employees),
The number of female employees receiving raises upon returning from maternity leave,
Gender parity among the 10 highest salaries.
For the year 2022, Georges Helfer achieved a score of 88/100.
An index improvement of +3% compared to the previous year.
This score, beyond the required 75 points, demonstrates the company’s daily commitment to gender equality.
