The most widely grown pineapple in the world
Green in colour when picked, it turns orange as it ripens. Its light, golden yellow flesh is juicy, sweet yet acidic and somewhat fibrous in texture.On average the fruits weigh between 1 and 3 kg.
Fresh Benin pineapple
An elongated, not particularly leafy fruit, with a high sugar content, a yellow, slightly dry and strongly scented flesh, its skin is not uniform: yellow at the bottom and green at the top
The "baby" pineapple
A small, rounded pineapple, with a tasty, sweet yellow flesh, it is grown mainly on the island of Mauritius and on Reunion Island, and can be found on our shelves during the winter

All of our products are inspected upon arrival and thereafter on a daily basis, in order to verify how ripe they are, to monitor their external quality and their taste quality.

Preservation / storage
As an exotic product, pineapple must be stored at a temperature slightly above that in a refrigerator (8/12°C). Above this temperature, the ripening process of the fruit will be accelerated.
